Dripstop® - A masterpiece in condensation control

We have been developing innovative and powerful membranes for coating metal roofs, providing effective protection from dripping condensation, since 1996.

Without Dripstop®, condensation forms when there are large temperature differences, often during the transition from day to night.

Extremely thin, but with a strong water absorption capacity and excellent properties, Dripstop® keeps condensation safely under control. High air permeability ensures water evaporates completely with rising daytime temperatures and optimal roof ventilation. And it does all this without any chemicals.

Dripstop® is a high-tech membrane with innovative material intelligence, manufactured using the leading production technologies. The high-tech nonwoven membrane made of PES fibers absorbs condensation at a rate of up to 1,000 g/m2 in the form of water droplets. The self-adhesive layer serves as a good barrier between the wet Dripstop® membrane and the coated metal sheet, providing enhanced corrosion protection.

Dripstop® can be trusted to protect the health of humans and animals from the negative effects of dripping condensation, while also preventing damage to buildings and stored goods.

Even though the membrane is very thin, it managed to effectively reduce rain noise by up to 2 dB. The human ear perceives this as a 12% reduction in noise volume. Hear the difference!

INSIGHTS

Condensation is the most common cause of moisture damage to buildings. It occurs when warm, moisture-saturated air meets cold surfaces. The warmer the air, the more moisture it can hold. As temperatures drop, this capacity drops sharply. At a saturation of 100%, the dew point is reached and water droplets form.
