Dripstop® Soundcontrol, a technological advancement in the familiar Dripstop® product line, provides a remedy. In addition to a higher water absorption capacity, this condensation control membrane has outstanding acoustic properties.

It absorbs irritating sounds as well as condensation - which also occurs more frequently on uninsulated metal roofs due to greater temperature differences.

Soundcontrol incorporates the smart technology of the original Dripstop® condensation control and adds something extra. The Dripstop® Soundcontrol has a higher absorption capacity of 2,500 g/m2. But the crucial plus point is the reduction in noise. The interwoven fiber structure reduces noise emissions inside the building by 6 dB. At the same time, Soundcontrol reduces wind noise or the noise that results from rain hammering down on the metal roof.
